PLEASE NOTE:When registering, take care! The VA will not pay for courses that are not requirements in the students declared
major/minor, nor pay for repeated courses unless a higher grade is required to satisfy degree requirements.
Augusta University limits academic residency to no more than twenty-five percent of
the degree requirements for all degrees for active-duty service members. Academic
residency can be completed at any time while active duty service members are enrolled.
Reservists and National Guardsmen on active duty are covered in the same manner.

Out-of-state tuition fee waiver. Augusta University offers an out-of-state-tuition fee waiver to all full-time military
personnel stationed in Georgia and to their dependents.
HOPE Scholarship for high school students. Dependent children of active duty service members may qualify for the HOPE scholarship
if they graduate from a Georgia high school.
ROTC Program. The Army ROTC Green to Gold Division Commander’s Hip Pocket Scholarship Program provides
selected soldiers the opportunity to complete their baccalaureate degree requirements
and obtain a commission through participation in the ROTC Scholarship program.
